The Roscommon GAA – Club Rossie Bus is a familiar side throughout the country carrying teams of all codes.
Readers may not be aware is that it is also available to hire by Club Teams and other groups within Clubs for Matches, Day Trips etc. During the Easter Holidays two teams of St Dominics Under 12 Footballers travelled to Croke Park for their Connacht GAA Play and Stay Event which saw them take on teams from throughout the province. Earlier this month a group from Boyle GAA Club and surrounding areas enjoyed a more relaxing trip to Headquarters. They went on a tour of the Stadium and followed it up with a visit to Leinster House. A number of Clubs including St Josephs and St Dominics have used the Bus for similar “GAA Social Initiative” trips which aim to bring older people in the community together for a day out.
