We are delighted to announce that TV pundit and former Offaly Hurler Micheal Duignan, former Meath Football and Sunday Game Analyst Bernard Flynn and legendary Mayo Ladies Football Cora Staunton, Mayo Ladies Football will all be guests at the Club Rossie Draw this Saturday May 14th in Hannon’s Hotel Roscommon from 9 pm. Seamus Duke, GAA columnist and broadcaster will act as MC on the evening, which promises to be a great night.
There is a lot of hard work to be done by Club Rossie and the Clubs over the coming days as it is in everyone’s interest to make this year’s fundraising drive more successful than ever. In addition to helping the county teams to be the best that they can be a large portion of this year’s income will go to fund the county#s portion of the development of a new pitch in Hyde Park. Once Roscommon GAA shows an ability to provide some funding towards the project, Croke Park have agreed to provide a very large percentage of the projected costs.
Clubs are currently busy selling their Club Rossie memberships and have all got certain quotas to reach, once they reach their quota, €50 of every ticket sold will go to their local club so your membership will benefit everyone.
With only days to go to the draw, we are asking all supporters, Clubs and Club Rossie Club Coordinators to drive on Membership Sales now to ensure that Clubs don’t have to get behind another fundraising drive later in the season. A Bronze Membership Costs €100 and includes 1 Draw Entry while a Gold Membership Costs €228 and includes 3 Draw Entries plus many more benefits.
You can also buy from the Roscommon GAA Offices on weekdays between 10am and 4pm or from your local club officers.
We have always said that “The Best Is Yet To Come!” but we need your help to make it a reality so please support your Club and County by becoming a member and by encouraging others to get involved.
