The annual Club Rossie Members Draw will be held tonight, Friday August 18th, in Hannon’s Hotel, Roscommon.
In addition to the €30,000 Prize Draw supporters of Roscommon GAA will gain an insight into the current state of play across all codes on the local Gaelic Games scene.
Our MC for the evening is Willie Hegarty and among those to be interviewed will be Under 17 Football Team Manager Liam Tully and Ladies Football Manager Michael Finneran. Coaching Officer Seán Kilbride will discuss the Roscommon GAA Academy, Hurling Chairperson Christy McDermott and Camogie Development Officer Marie O’Brien will speak about the fastest field sports in the world while Roscommon GAA Chairperson Seamus Sweeney and Club Rossie Chair David O’Connor will look at the overall scene.
The Members Draw has a top prize of €20,000 and a second prize of €5,000. The third, fourth and fifth prize are €1,000 while there will be four further prizes of €500.
Members will also be included in a Draw for a pair of All-Ireland Hurling Final Tickets and a Draw for a pair of All-Ireland Football Final Tickets.
Club Rossie Memberships can still be purchased with the fastest way being via clubrossie.ie/shop . Memberships will be on sale at the Roscommon GAA Office, Racecourse Road, Roscommon until 4pm and at other times by arrangement – email info@clubrossie.ie to request.
The action gets under way at 8:30pm and all members are invited to attend, on what promises to be an entertaining evening.
