We recently caught up with Club Rossie Business Member Gerry Gordon of Autopia Ltd, a supplier of car care products, based in Fuerty.
Gerry, why did Autopia become a Club Rossie Business Member?
I wanted to help support Roscommon GAA into the future and in turn I want Autopia to be linked to that future success.
Who is your Favourite Roscommon Player of all time?
It has got to be Tony McManus.
What has been your most memorable moments supporting Roscommon?
It’s difficult to narrow it down but I’ll say Derek Duggan’s “Wonder Free” to level the 1991 Connacht Senior Football Final in McHale Park and Gerry Lohan’s goal which won the 2001 Connacht Final.

My Sons Harry and Patrick (both age 6). They love playing and going to matches and aspire to be like their heroes such as Seanie McDermott and their own club-mate Niall Kilroy.
If your company was a Roscommon GAA Player (past or present) who would it be and why?
Dermot Earley. We’re both professional, well grounded and stylish players in our fields.
Finally, if you were the next GAA President what’s the one thing about the Association that you’d change?
Because of it’s location I would make Dr Hyde Park the most attractive and primary venue in the West of Ireland. The town is centrally located in the province and has good transport links to host neutral games involving counties outside the province.
