Club Rossie Members Draw

Club Rossie Members Draw just 10 days away

The annual Club Rossie Members Draw is just 10 days away and will take place in Hannon’s Hotel on Friday August 9th 2019. There are over €40,000 worth of prizes up for grabs for 10 lucky winners.

All funds raised go towards helping Roscommon GAA teams be the best they can be. The money raised last year in the Win a House in Dublin campaign has been used to stabilise our financial situation, in addition a large portion of the funds raised have been set aside to fund the development of Dr Hyde Park, (planning permission for which is now lodged) and the development of the Dermot Earley Centre of Excellence.

Membership costs €100 for Bronze or €230 for Gold with an exclusive jacket for all Gold members. The top prize for all members is in association with Dermot Hughes Toyota, Roscommon town and the lucky winner can choose between a Toyota Camry, Hilux or Landcruiser. There are 9 other cash prizes ranging from €1,000 to €500 and Gold Members are in with the chance of winning All-Ireland Final Tickets.

Everyone who has renewed or joined before August 6th will be included in a special Bank Holiday Bonanza Bonus Draw, with the winner receiving a pair of All-Ireland Football Final Tickets and 10 extra entries to our Members Draw.

We’ve had a great year in Roscommon GAA circles and it’s still only July:
The Senior Footballers won the FBD Connacht League and the Connacht Championship, the Senior Hurlers winning Division 3A and reaching the Christy Ring Cup Semi-Finals, the U17 Hurlers on winning the All-Ireland Celtic Challenge Corn Jerome O’Leary and the Ladies Footballers retaining the Connacht Intermediate Championship as well as titles in Scór and Masters Football team in All-Ireland semi-final.

In addition, our Minor Footballers had a steady campaign, remember the great result against Galway and Aaron’s goal? The Minor ladies Footballers are playing the All Ireland B Final this Saturday, August 3rd at 1pm in Duggan Park, Ballinasloe and the Under 16 Camogie Team are in the All-Ireland Semi-Final on the 11th of August. Things are looking bright for our Gaelic Family.

The annual Draw is a critical part of Roscommon GAA’s fundraising and we urge you to support this initiative. The New York branch of Club Rossie are actively pushing sales as well as all the Clubs in the county.

Treasurer of Roscommon GAA, David O’Connor said, “this is a critical time for Roscommon GAA. With great progress on the field we are also making progress off the field with planning permission recently lodged for development of Dr Hyde Park. Our Annual Draw is critical to our fundraising efforts and we urge everyone to support it”.

“I‘m delighted with the enthusiasm that is being shown by so many people the length and breadth of the county as they promote the draw, sell the tickets and I suppose most importantly buy the tickets. It’s a great time for Roscommon and always great to see progress been made amongst the entire Roscommon Gaelic family. I’d encourage everybody to join and remember you’re also helping your local club as they receive 50% of all tickets sold above their club quota.

Chairman of Club Rossie, Pat Compton expressed his thanks to Rossies at home and abroad for their support for our fundraising and asked for this support to be continued by becoming a member of our 2019 draw.

Remember joining is simple just go to www.clubrossie.ie/join or else speak to a member of your club or visit the Roscommon GAA offices.
