This morning (Monday 21 March), Club Rossie business member Tommy Finnerty of Finnerty Stoneworks won the coveted prize of sponsoring the Roscommon Senior Football jersey for the Dublin game.
Speaking to Club Rossie after his win, Tommy, a member of the Padraig Pearses Club said, “I’ve been going to Roscommon games since I was 4 or 5. I used to go with my Dad who passed away in 1992 and now go with my brother to both hurling and football games. I’d 3 nephews involved with the hurlers last year.
I was a Club Rossie Business member last year. This year I was happy to get involved again. When I got the call this morning I couldn’t believe it. I was hoping to get one job out of my involvement but this is totally beyond my expectations! Funny enough, my wife is a Dub so I’ll have to leave her at home that day but I think she’ll come anyway”.
Tommy’s business provides top class stone work for facing housing, stone walls, pillars and fireplaces. Tommy can be contacted at 087-7521553.
Speaking on behalf of the Club Rossie business team, David O’Connor, thanked all sponsors and again reiterated that the goal of Club Rossie is to help all our business members generate revenue from their involvement.
